Cultural Literacy or Educating the Mind for Consciousness
The next challenge we face is to prepare the foundation for the higher state of mind and consciousness demanded of the practitioner who wishes to develop the physical and etheric cognition necessary to treat both the highest and deepest diseases, as well as to use bioresonance technology effectively.
As a first step, following on the general survey of Western thought at the last Autumn School, we will spend 3 days examining and providing for a foundation in Western culture as a pre-requisite for the journey to gnosis and epi-gnosis.
Come prepared to be challenged on your existing knowledge of Western culture, from its earliest stages to its modern expression, as well as to have this knowledge base reinforced and expanded. We will look at archeology, history, philosophy, the arts – in their exoteric and esoteric sense – using various written and audio-visual sources. On registration, you will be provided with an electronic copy of Gunter Wachsmuth’s Evolution of Mankind, which should be read prior to attending, as the basic textbook. Additional materials will be provided and shared during the three days.
Where
Sidney-by-the-Sea, on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. The venue is ten minutes from Victoria’s International Airport with the Pacific Ocean outside the hotel door.

Classes will be held 9am to 5pm Saturday through Monday: 24, 25 and 26 September 2011.
