2007 Hahnemann’s Birthday Dinner

Hahnemann’s Birthday Dinner and 10th Anniversary of the Hahnemann Center, April 21 2007 in Manotick ON Canada.

2006 Dr. Hahnemann’s Birthday Celebration

In 2006 we celebrated Dr. Hahnemann’s 251st birthday at the gorgeous Carleton Golf Club in Manotick, with a brunch and silent auction. The silent auction brought another $1,000 into the Hahnemann Center Trust, which was wonderful! And a splendid time was had by all – great food, exquisite company!

Thanks to all who came, and who helped make our second Fall Rhapsody a success!

2003 First Annual Fall Rhapsody

The sun literally shone on the First Annual Fall Rhapsody at the site of the eventual new home of the HCH in the south of Ottawa. A better day could not have been ordered – sunny, warm, slight breeze, wonderful fall colour and just a hint of crispness. The 30-some guests, young and old alike, enjoyed walking along the 5 km of trails through wood and meadow.

Each family worked on an observation sheet on which they noted the flora and fauna they noticed along the way. Prizes went to those who found the biggest leaf, the prettiest/most colorful leaf and to those who filled out the most complete observation sheet. Refreshments and snacks supplied by volunteers were available in the hay mow of the barn.

Everyone was able to see where the new clinic/school building will be built in a few years. Several volunteers helped with registration, directing and serving food and drinks. All in all, a perfect way to launch what we hope will be an annual event for all students, patients and friends and a chance to raise funds for the HCH building fund. Over $800 was raised and the building fund now stands at close to $8,000 in total.

Thanks to all who came, and who helped make our first Fall Rhapsody a success!
