MODULE FOURTEEN: Materia Medica Part One
     First Aid
     Basic Pathic Remedies (top 50/100/150)
Basic Differential Diagnosis for Common Acute Conditions
     Remedy Families

This Module begins the study of the medicines necessary for the practitioner in your daily practice. You must first have a thorough familiarity with first-aid and the principles underlying such treatment, which in turn furnishes the basis of a small, but intensely used, grouping of remedies used for the treatment of such traumas both acutely and in chronic situations (where the trauma occurred in the past but affects one's health in the present). Next, you as a practitioner must have knowledge of how to quickly and effectively deal with various common acute situations that arise in a regular practice by means of basic guides that provide an easy grouping of the main remedies and a basic differential diagnosis to enable you to select the correct remedy. This is then followed by studying commonly used remedies by means of their grouping in "families," such as the Natrum family of remedies. This unit gives you a solid basis for undertaking acute prescribing.

CERTIFICATE IN MATERIA MEDICA - TONIC PRESCRIBING: TIMELINE/MIASMS

MODULE FIFTEEN: Materia Medica Part Two
Basic Tonic Remedies by Jurisdiction (Homogenic/Pathogenic/Iatrogenic)
     Chronic Miasms

Here you will learn the group of remedies that are used on the basis of the principle of constant diseases (tonic diseases) having a constant (or specific) remedy. Knowledge of these remedies will give you the means to prescribe for the three categories of tonic diseases with ease and confidence. In addition, the Module covers in depth the nature and extent of the eight constant remedies for the eight chronic (inherited) miasms: Psorinum (Psora), Malaria (Malaria), Tuberculinum (Tuberculosis), Ringworm (Ringworm), Medorrhinum (Sycosis), Carcinosin (Cancer), Syphilinum (Syphilis) and Lyme (Lyme).

CERTIFICATE IN MATERIA MEDICA - CONSTITUTION

MODULE SIXTEEN: Materia Medica Part Three
     Constitutions (Genotypes and Phenotypes)

There are six basic constitutional remedies (genotypes) and six main, or initial, constitutions that can and may emerge when the constitution is subjected to disease states. It requires an in-depth study and knowledge of each of these remedies to be able to discern them in the patient through their diseases. The study of these remedies is done on the basis of the main texts providing you with the images and an understanding of these remedies in their essentially healthy state.

CERTIFICATE IN MATERIA MEDICA - ADVANCED: IDEOGENIC AND CHTHONIC

MODULE SEVENTEEN: Materia Medica Part Four
     Chthonic Remedies
     Ideogenic Remedies

Beyond the chronic miasms, we find ourselves in the realm of the deepest diseases and the highest diseases. Here you will find various remedies that have been, and promise to be, useful in the treatment of these diseases. You will explore their particular state of mind so as to determine how best you can use them in practice. Again, a strong familiarity with each remedy is a pre-condition to their effective use.

CERTIFICATE IN MATERIA MEDICA - ADJUNCT THERAPIES

MODULE EIGHTEEN: Materia Medica Part Five
     Tissue Salts
     Bowel Nosodes
     Flower and Plant Essences

These remedies are mainly used on the basis of the law of opposites, acting in the manner of regimen to support the sustentive aspect of the Living Power. They are important adjuncts to medicine on the basis of the law of similars. This Module will teach you the correct basis for, and the principles behind, their use.

MODULE NINETEEN: Materia Medica Part Six
     Drainage and Detoxification
     Homotoxicology
     Organotherapy
     Lithotherapy
     Gemmotherapy
     Oligo-elements

An important part of treatment is to ensure that the drainage organs are working properly and that detoxification of metals and chemicals is proceeding by natural means efficiently and effectively. Each of these approaches has been developed in Europe over the last several decades and provides you with a useful, and at times essential, means of support for the removal of disease. The use of trace minerals for therapeutic effect was developed in France over the last half century. We are becoming more and more deficient in such important elements due to changing agricultural practices and increasingly stressful lifestyles, including the consumption of fast foods. This Module provides you with the principles and correct means of using such methods within an integrated system of treatment.
